Transformative Pride Recognition Program
This employee recognition program is designed to create a culture of peer appreciation and recognition for providing colleagues a transformative experience.
There are four categories of recognition of peers or colleagues in the division.
Was the Difference
- Recognizes a colleague witnessed taking a step that was beyond the protocol/practice/role to positively influence the course of a student's day.
- Eligibility: All DSA staff
- Who can recommend: Peer to Peer, Supervisory/Non-Supervisor
Pride at Play
:
-Recognizes a colleague whose contribution through volunteerism, leadership or making a connection helped raise the visibility of
the department or division or institution in the broader community
- Eligibility: All DSA staff
- Who can recommend: Peer to Peer, Supervisory/Non-Supervisor; Director-Level and above
Made it Simple
:
- Recognizes a colleague who demonstrated operational excellence; or who has simply done something intentional that made the workday or workplace a fun/pleasant place to be.
- Eligibility: All DSA staff;
or Campus Partner outside the division
- Who can recommend: Peer to Peer, Supervisory/Non-Supervisor

Recognizes someone who:
Shared a resource that supported a budget gap
Demonstrated compassion for a colleague having difficulty showing up themselves
Offered a solution in a supportive way
Offered their talent without being asked, or without asking for credit.
Made a contribution through volunteerism, leadership, or making a connection helped raise the visibility of the department or division, or institution in the regional or statewide community
